Nimbus Media Limited Introduces 3 New Directors at Her 2021 Annual General Meeting
Nimbus Media Limited hosted her ‘Annual General Meeting 2021’ on 25 May 2021 at The Providence Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos introducing Mr. Damola Solanke, Mrs. Victoria Oluwaniyi, and Rev. Olakanmi-Amoo Onidundu as new additions to the company’s board of Directors.
The Chairman, Mr. Babs Fagade while introducing the new directors said; “ We are pleased to welcome onto our board of directors these three new members with diverse experience and expertise in the various Nigerian business sectors. Their skills encompass finance, strategy, technology, and human resources development. We look forward to the value and growth they will bring to our company.”
Rev. Amoo-Onidundu is a highly skilled corporate executive, strategic advisor, versatile corporate HR administrator, experienced boardroom leader and motivator. He is the CEO/Lead Consultant at OMP Consult Ltd. Prior to his appointment at Nimbus, he was a Director at Troyka Holdings Limited where he was responsible for the strategic leadership for the HR function and people-business related navigation of the organization. He was also the Human Capital Director at Insight Nigeria; he was Publicity Secretary/Ex-Officio Executive at Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) between years 2012 to 2015.
He holds a Masters in Personnel Psychology Degree (M.P.P.) from the University of Ibadan and also a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc.) from University of Ilorin. An alumnus of the Lagos Business School (LBS – SMP 30) he also attended Walden University at Washington US, Cranfield University (UK) for his Leadership Competency Studies and the Advanced Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA). He is also certified as a Management consultant at the international council of management consulting institutes, he is a licensed HR practitioner.
Rev. Amoo-Onidundu has been in General Human Capital Development, Personnel Management, Information, Media Relations and Journalism for about three-decades.
Damola Solanke is an experienced technology and business leader. He is skilled in telecommunications, ITIL, VoIP, IP, Product management, Public speaking, Business development, startup consulting and business intelligence.
Prior to his appointment at Nimbus Mr. Solanke worked at Microsoft as the Director, Public Sector where he built strategic relationships, developing new business through Envisioning by leading engagements with Industry knowledge & Solution plays. He was also Business leader for Digital Transformation at Azure Apps & Infrastructure lead, Managing Director at IT Touch Company, Head of Product Development & Cloud Operations at MainOne, Executive Director at 21st Century Technologies, Dubai, UAE.
He holds an MBA degree from the University Of Warwick Business School. His goal is to work with organizations to transform the way they optimize their operations through empowering their employees in order to think about how products are transformed for an improved customer experience.
Victoria Oluwaniyi is an experienced finance professional. She is skilled with creativity, leadership, negotiation and team-work, she has developed accounting policies for businesses. Mrs. Oluwaniyi has numerous training from Harvard Business School Boston, The Institute of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Institute of Taxation, Noble Corporation Houston, Noble Drilling (UK) Limited Aberdeen, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
She is a member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria, and Society of Women in Taxation.
In their new roles, the three new board members will provide creative contribution to the board by providing independent oversight, constructive challenge to the executive director, performance risk management and corporate governance, Strategic direction and monitoring performances.
