The new leadership of Out of Home Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN) led by the president, Rtn Sola Akinsiku, frpa paid a courtesy visit to the ARCON HOUSE and the Director General of Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (OAAN), Dr Olalekan Fadalapo, frpa.
The visitation provided yet another opportunity for the new OAAN executive to bring to the fore germane issues affecting the development and growth of Out of Home Advertising practice in Nigeria. It was very engaging and robust as the Dr. Fadolapo reassured the OAAN EXCO of his continuous support and unrelenting approach to address all issues raised.
Dr. Fadolapo stated during the meeting that under his leadership ARCON would continue to protect all licensees including OAAN members. He further assured the OAAN team of addressing the “in-charge date” matter as raised by Mr. Akinsiku among other issues during the visit.
The OAAN president and his team expressed appreciation to the ARCON DG for his continuous commitment and emphasized that all raised issues would remain a talking point until resolved, which the ARCON DG regurgitated accordingly. The OAAN vice-president, Mr. Omo Abunene, frpa, General Secretary, Churchill Nwagwu, rpa, Publicity Secretary, Babs Fagade, frpa, Ex-officio members, Alfred Akokhia, frpa, George Onwujiariri, rpa and the General manager, Chiddy Ibiam, frpa accompanied the president at the visitation.
