New Airport Terminal in Lagos and Air Power airport advertising
The newly built international airport terminal, which include five baggage collection carousels, 16 immigration desks at arrival, 28 immigration desks at departure, eight security screening points, two food courts, four premium lounges, 22 guest rooms and spa, 16 airline ticketing offices, visa on arrival and port health facility, as well as praying area, more than 3,000 square metres of duty free space, approximately 5,000 square metres of lettable utility space, amongst others was recently commissioned by the Nigerian President. The terminal also has about 60 sets of check-in counters and six boarding bridges, also comprises of a four-storey Main Terminal Building, three-storey Finger Building, two-storey Cargo Terminal Building, 82,925sqm apron, and external and ancillary works.
Following the commissioning, Air Power Limited, the airport advertising concessionaire to Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has unveiled a perfect ambience for brand promotion in the new terminal at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos with spectacular billboards, wall and pillar wraps, airport bus transport among other indoor hoardings.
OR gathered that the state-of-the-art terminal built on a land mass of approximately 56,000 square metres, and expected to handle 20 million passengers annually.
According to Felix Ehikhuemen, the company’s Managing Director of Air Power Limited, his company has deployed modern technology in indoor advertising at all strategic points of the facility to give brands premium value and to enhance travelers’ experience.
“As you can see, after touch down through the immigration check-in and the outdoor of the new terminal, there is a huge display of Air Power’s impressive and imposing indoor hoardings.
“The up-to-the-minute state of the terminal has made it attractive to brand managers coupled with the cosy ambience which encourages passengers of any class to sit down and relax. While looking at the ambience, passengers would also want to look at the beautiful advert,” he said.
