The need to get out of about 7 years hiatus and to re-introduce the vibrancy and vigour that were the hallmark of the various advertising components of the Nigerian economy as well as to engender healthy competition have all propelled the Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN) to gather a set of advertising eggheads to form a panel that will handle the next OAAN Awards hitherto known as the Poster Awards. The awards are going to be part of the inaugural OAAN Conference scheduled to hold in November at the prestigious Marriotts Hotel in high brow Ikeja GRA this year.
The preparations for the maiden edition of the OAAN Conference alongside the rebranded Exhibition and Awards of the Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria is gathering steam as the sectoral body of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria yesterday inaugurated a 10-man jury panel for the prestigious and highly coveted industry awards.

Chief Ajufo noted that the Award is embedded within the activities of the OAAN Conference where critical issues that affect the industry one way or the other will be discussed.
