OAAN SETS TO HOLD 37TH AGM

The Outdoor Advertising professionals in Nigeria, Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN) has concluded plans to hold her 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, July 29, 2022 at The Phantom Hotels, Lekki, Lagos State. 

According to the association’s official notice published in the newspaper of Thursday, July 7, 2021 and signed by Mr. Olusola Akinsiku frpa, the General Secretary of the Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN), the association’s AGM for this year would be yet another opportunity for the Executive Council to account for how they have handled the affairs of the association in the last 12 months.

The associations’s 37th AGM holding as scheduled this year with the theme, “OOH Business and Nigerian Regulatory Laws” would see members looking at ways to remain relevant at a time when member companies business operations are negatively affected.

It must be noted that the association from inception of the incumbent Executive Council led by a result-oriented President, Emmanuel Ajufo upon being sworn in for the second term at the 2021 AGM, have recorded remarkable achievements including the introduction of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that culminated into the Advertising Industry Standard Operating Procedure (AISOP) as adopted by Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) for all sectoral groups under the advertising apex body being a framework for an advertising industry wide SOP.

 

AGM NOTIFICATION

The guess list scheduled to grace the occasion includes; Special Guest of Honour, Lagos State Governor, Mt Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Other guests expected at the event include Engr. Kesha of the Works Section of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, the Lagos State Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Tunji Bello and the Managing Director, Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency, Prince Adedamola Docemo. Equally expected at the event are heads of advertising sectoral groups of Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).

To do justice to the AGM theme; “OOH BUSINESS AND NIGERIAN REGULATORY LAWS” is a renown legal practitioner, as Guest Speaker, Barrister CIC Chikwendu.
